Jasmine Bhagroo (née Mitchell) is a director and producer focused on social change and community engagement. As an anti-racist theatre practitioner and woman of God, she is driven to produce work that creates space for Black women and marginalized groups to heal and be joyful. Jasmine was recently the Inaugural Black Theatre Coalition Artistic Director Fellow at New York Theatre Workshop and Octopus Theatricals. She has also worked at theaters throughout the DC area such as Folger, Round House, Woolly Mammoth, Mosaic, Rorschach, Young Playwrights Theatre, Kennedy Center, and the University of Maryland.
